At English Blast we made drawings of machines and inventions.  I drew a
machine with 21 arms that would make your room clean and would sing and is
on the ceiling. Adam and Jena were in my group.  Another invention we made
was a hat you put on when you sleep and your hair won’t be funny when you
wake up in the morning.

In microscopes we all looked at things like bugs.  I looked at a tick and drew a
picture of sugar -- it looked like snow.

When we studied India we learned that it is important for Indians to go to the
Ganges River.  Sunita and the other guests told us a lot of things, and we said
Namaste.

We've done timelines for the Jomon era and history and for inventions like the
television, refrigerator and telephone.

I like English Blast because I like to speak English, but I don't like the
workbook homework.
